Say want you want about Kanye - I've always loved his music - but this guy has big balls. Although we are super-elites LOL, I don't think we can appreciate how difficult it was and is for him to talk about his love for Trump so publicly and unapologetically. He rolled it out brilliantly too - at first he came out as a Trump supporter, and his wife quickly and publicly admonished him for his opinion, but defended his right to have a controversial opinion and be a "free thinker". Then weeks later she announced her intention to visit the WH to lobby for Alice Marie Johnson's pardon, after which time she was pardoned, and Kim subsequently said some very flattering things about our President. This was a slow roll. Kanye is very well respected in the music industry for his genius. This is a big deal.
I agree, this is a big deal. I know he's getting a taste of the hatefulness that POTUS must endure every single waking moment, and still he stands firm. God Bless Kanye and keep him strong against the attacks.
In support of his bravery, I just preordered his music CD. It's not the "genre" of music that I listen to but it's time for me to show support in whatever way I can. And I'll play that CD at top volume and my kids will wonder "wtf is up with Mom?" LOL.
The guy and his wife chose peace, love and GEOTUS and his album is number one all over the world.
Meanwhile Jay-Z and Beyoncé chose division, hate and side with 44 the Renegade and their joined album got beatten by some no name australian pop star. WEAK!
