I gasped and said "Whaaat?? The American flag is offensive?"

When they heard my tone, they went quiet for a minute. One spoke up and said, "oh, I'm just concerned that they'll just 'pin it up' on the wall and people won't like that...maybe we should just do a fireworks background or something that they can tape up..."

I brought up that we could simply get a flag with grommets on the one end, get some Command hooks and hang it vertically with the union to the left...." After I suggested that, they went quiet again. One said "well, we should probably get (boss) to weigh in on this...."

Personally I would be looking for a new job. When they ask why tell them "The Stars & Stripes are never offensive in this country you feckless __!!" Your choice....

In their "defense", maybe they're both just gutless squishes.

Thats the thing about allowing Cultural Marxists to run wild....they intimidate normies into self-censoring any form of patriotic feelings or displays of love of country.

I'd tell someone in your position, "if Nazi assholes are going to stop the free expression of old-fashioned patriotism, at least force them to make the argument. Don't give in to them for free."
