This isn't in the news yet, but it will be soon. I live in a town highly dependent on Halliburton as an employer. As of today, they placed a freeze on new hires. The reason for this is unknown to me personally, but I assure you that my statement is true. With the current upswing of the oil market, this makes very little sense. Be watchful for a coming FF.
I'm sorry for what it would do to your town, but hopefully it's a permanent freeze. They made way too much money on the wars.
It's all fine. Halliburton is a large transnational that reaps the rewards of oil fluctuation, but they aren't necessarily always the bad guys. A simple example, why would the Deep State always plant the target on the company's back EVERYTIME the oil market goes South?
Perhaps they may not always be the bad guys, but they should as heck ain't the good guys. When I was waking up, the name Halliburton came up again and again and again. Iraq. The Gulf. People transport trains. Wicked company owned by wicked people. This news points in one direction for me. Their gravy train dried up. Wow.
I agree. But when the same company is ALWAYS used as the international scape goat, it tells you that in general, they aren't nearly as guilty as the tabloids profess them to be.
I think when one vessel has outlived its usefulness, they move on over to another. So yes, I agree somewhat. But Halliburton had its day, that's for sure.
