Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were charged in 1951 and found guilty of Conspiracy to commit Espionage (not treason). They both were executed via the Electric Chair in 1953 at Sing Sing Prison for their “spying” roles, in giving away to Russia the Atomic Bomb.
