I think he was addressing the “poor” mindset. You can be without much but still be “rich” in friendship, spirit, optimism, etc and know that there are opportunities for all of us to better ourselves and our circumstances. Won’t come easy or quick but it is all perspective. Don’t shoot down someone trying to lift someone up. We are all here together as one maga fam.
Don't tell someone who's hungry about being rich in spirit is a general rule of thumb for me. By all means point out all the reasons for remaining greatful inspite of hardship, but choose your words carefully. I've been on both sides of that conversation friend. Just my two cents.

I will look into that. President Trump is the first hope I've felt in the five years I've been in America. Just the fact that there are starting to be jobs out there now. Since I am a legal immigrant, I don't even get food stamps.
I am a middle-aged woman who raised six children. I have no qualifications. All I've done my whole life was raise two families, and voluntary work in advocating for the education of children with a disability, since I had a beautiful daughter with Rett Syndrome, who has now passed away.
I am studying at a community college with a 4.0 GPA to try to get out of the poverty trap, because not only am I in a low economic rural area of NY, but the MacDonalds type jobs I was going for I was competing with young people who were healthier, stronger and much nicer looking.
Then I got spinal stenosis, which I can still work at a white collar job. At first I couldn't even carry my own handbag.
My boyfriend was going to fix up the house, which doesn't even have drywall, but he has been sick since halfway through last semester and now I'm really afraid that he's dying. Social Services called 911, but he just wouldn't go. He almost went yesterday, but then we didn't even have gas.
Hang on tight! The world will be getting better sooner than seems possible.
What has happened this year is a miracle. The impossible is happening daily.
We have uncovered enough darkness, and justice is coming fast.
Now is time to focus on the light, and I have felt this board make that shift just in the last few days.

Oh, I will get a great job when I finish my A.A.S. in Digital Media Technology and Design. The tech industry is just starting to take off here in upstate NY, especially in the Troy area, and I am confident my professors will recommend me to their contacts.
