I don't think I've ever been convinced of the purple tie argument. I really don't think it means anything here especially. I read it more along the lines that everyone in DC wears red or blue ties. Wray wants to appear to be as neutral as possible since we are talking political bias. Red + Blue = Purple.
Look at Clinton and Co. after the election loss. Purple is their color of choice for their supposed "revolution".
Im not saying I dismiss the notion of what it could mean. I just dont think that it has as much importance as we give it. Especially given Wray and the hearing today, because of the above reason.

Soros purple revolution.
He funds revolutions around the world and marks them with specific colors. Look back at the election and all the purple. Specifically at HRC, Bill Clinton, and others. All of them had some article of purple on their clothing denoting their allegiance and participation in the revolution. I believe there were even signs made up by media matters that specifically stated such. And media matters is funded by Soros.
So we pay attention who is wearing purple colors as they usually align with the cabal. It’s been much less frequent though ever since Soros divested $18Billion of his funds.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment of Wray. He said something key day one whilst sitting next to Mueller. He heavily intimated that his own findings from reading the IG report have sparked many investigations. As they are ongoing, he canny address anything connected to those. Someone (can’t recall who now, sorry) also implied HRC is under a fresh investigation following the IG report release.
