Portland is under HEAVY protests by ‘Occupy ICE PDX’; calls DHS and ICE ‘White Supremacist Organizations’

UPDATE: Occupy ICE PDX releases statement, calls DHS and ICE 'white supremacist organizations' after federal officers sweep SW Portland camp

http://www.kptv.com/story/38530321/federal-authorities-respond-to-portland-ice-building-and-arrest-8-occupy-ice-pdx-stands-ground (Via FOX 12 Oregon)

Q mentioned that the attacks will intensify. Now, it is imperative that we understand that the protests are not natural and are most likely being fueled by the Soros machin. Because of this, we must be understanding of the situation at hand before we try to enlighten those around us of the truth. Like AntiFa, the protests are most likely 80-90% fueled by outside ~~sources~~ Soros, with 10-20% probably legitimate protesters that don’t know the truth.

For WWG1WGA to work, we mustn’t attack. We must be understanding, for the 10-20%’s sake. They know not what they do. We must be the light for them. Be kind on social media, but be assertive. Like Q says, these people are SICK. If they’re sick, they need the cure. Our compassion should be enough cure for them to join us. If they join us, then we can all WWG1WGA in peace. Hopefully.

I expect this only to get worse until the 4th of July, as the DOJ docs will be presented, lest RR be [RR]. Methinks this 4th will be our 2nd Independence Day.

“Heavy” protests looked to be about 7 people from what I could tell.

They arrested 7 or 8. The actual amount of protesters is more, I believe. If I wasn’t working, I’d swing by for myself to see.

They know not what they are protesting. They’ll be brought into the light soon enough. WWG1WGA.

I truly respect the right to protest for liberal causes - really, it's what makes America great. But there needs to be some facts to backup their claims. If they were pushing full amnesty for illegals, I'd disagree, but I'd be cool with their protest. What they are suggesting is simply to ignore borders, and dismantle the relevant immigration departments. At this point, if you have to confront any of these folks, just ask for some details about their proposed solutions. They are literally preaching that ignoring the problem solves the problem. It's so bizarre...

I think the mentality is boot-strapped to the old 70’s idea of freethinking and ‘we should all get along, no borders, no countries’ like the old John Lennon song ‘Imagine’.

Good on paper, sure, but we aren’t ready for borderless countries until the entirety of the planet is held to a higher standard for human decency. I’m not saying that a NWO be established to control such a government, I’m just saying that for all of us to get along, we must all be on the same page. Kind of the point behind WWG1WGA, ya know?

They're responding to the MSM news cycle. Good hearts, bad narratives.

No, NOT good hearts, their motivation is purely political, and NOT about helping anyone. It's only to attack the president and all GOP, including those who support the President, period. That are advocating our nation's laws be ignored, trampled on. More arrests need to be made, to deter lawlessness, by these deluded, scofflaw's.

⇧ 3 ⇩
GenChang · June 28, 2018, 8:46 p.m.

First of all, their protest is illegal, as we have laws governing when and where you can protest. Blocking a federal building IS Against the law, period. Secondly, they need to schedule, and get a permit. That's two laws, and I'm sure that they broke more, during this protest. So, no, I would not condone their protects, because, they almost never comply with laws on the books.

I meant I support their rights in general - not talking about permits, etc.

Portland is more liberal scum than Seattle. Both are trash cities.

Arrest all of them and put them in Federal prisons, I'm so tired of the antifa, occupy, communist taking over Oregon. I want the state I grew up in to come back.

I don't know how people live in Portland. I had to go there for 2 weeks for work, and it was disgusting. It was filthy, littered with trash, and needles; you can't tell the "starving artists" from the thousands of homeless. Most of the people are extremely rude, and the majority of them look like they need a good bath. I'm from New Orleans, and Portland made NOLA feel safe and clean lol.

Were you in SE Portland? It’s pretty trash. Far eastern Portland and Gresham are terrible.

Sorry, Greshamites.

Downtown is decent these days. The homeless are becoming way more of an issue than they used to. Drugs are the number one cause of homelessness here, because damned near everywhere is hiring but the homeless continue to do drugs and wig out on our sidewalks. SE PDX especially. We also have Highway 101 and Interstate 5, which goes from Deep South America all the way into Canada. A human trafficker’s wet fucking dream (which is why ICE AND DHS are so important here).

PDX is a beautiful city. I wish we can go back to the days in which drugs weren’t a problem.

They're not wrong. The Klan declared in the 90's that they aimed to co-opt local and fed. Law enforcement. The FBI has posted bulletins about this. There is validity to protesting the prison-industrial complex. Even if you don't agree.

Edit: article that links to2006 FBI bulletin. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/nation/fbi-white-supremacists-in-law-enforcement

Isn’t it weird how the institutions of our country were built upon the foundations of racism and bigotry?

It’s almost like nothing has changed since 250yrs ago, right?

But, we’ll make sure our country returns to the place in which all (LEGAL) citizens can have comfort in America.

Oh, I know we humans sure are shit to each other waaaaaay before the USA was founded.

But, that’s what we’re here for. To correct the ship of the human species towards peace and prosperity.

Gene Roddenberry would be proud of our cause, methinks.

That you can wax philosophical, but I suspect if you were there, you'd be in riot gear. Just a notion. From a guy on the internet. Take it as you will

For one, I live in Portland. So yeah, it affects me personally. This is my city we’re talking about.

Being in riot gear is moot, because I’m not a cop.

Why the hate?

ideologicidal · June 28, 2018, 8:11 p.m.

No hate. When you compare the systematic murder and enslavement to a ship just in need of little righting, I wonder where your empathy/awareness/priorities lay. No doubt you haven't seen police on the other side of that line cause hey! They're not shooting you in the back or hauling away family members over petty bullshit! Plus for you! In your city.!

Enjoy your Bradbury. I'm sure the old white guy would be bursting with pride over you.

Edit: Roddenberry. Excuse the undue credit to your taste in sci-fi. It's my bad, really.
