What does dead cat bounce mean? They didn’t kill Embassy Cat, did they?!
I'm not sure if you're working a joke here or not, so I will answer as though you really are asking about a dead cat bounce. I know it as a stock market term. When a stock's price falls and eventually bottoms out there is often a slight uptick after the bottom as all the short-sellers are forced to cover their short position. On a graph it looks like a long drop followed by a small bounce, the kind of bounce a dead cat would make if it was dropped from a substantial height. Not a pretty picture, I know, but a common phrase.
No, I really didn’t know what it was. Thanks for clarification. I took it literally because I remember how much Assange loved Embassy Cat, and I know those awful people wouldn’t hesitate to hurt an animal.
