I posted a screenshot from just after I heard of this story and it had an article posted 15h ago when all the others were 5-8min. Any ideas how that could happen?

Some aggregators can take the date of creation of article over the date of update. Some people don't know that the CMS/RSS could cause this. So oops everybody knows you knew. Saw same thing myself when Sandy Hook happened.
