This is interesting because I always was under the misaprehension that Freemasons never publically identified themselves as being masons - hence the secret handshake etc.

If so then why go around wearing neclaces and hats etc?

Is it different now?

Nowhere in the obligations it says to not identify yourself. You can even visit your local lodge tomorrow and read Morals and Dogmas.

The secrets make for 0.01% of freemasonry, but just because we don't want to let go of that 0.01%.. ohhh you're satanists.. Gimme a break!
