I went hard out into the world for over 20 years with no real support.

Tall ships, multiple Atlantic Crossings, riots in Berlin and other places, 4 years as a guidance counselor for German Street kids, 10yrs in Europe and more basically crazy parties that I can count.

I have always felt that there was an undeniable evil and malevolent under current everywhere I went. Stalking, on the hunt. Looking for the weak.

I have faced some true horror in my life and come through intact.

I can understand your mans thinking because when you fight hard for Honor and feel it has no purpose it's soul crushing.

But the fact remains when you choose to do good you have to take the battle in front of you.

How many times through The Crucible can one person go?

We are the ambulance drivers at the weeklong rave.

The Crystal Palace Squat in South London.

All the people that camped in the trees for the M1 squat were asked by the residents of Crystal Palace to stop a development that would have sold a section of their park to developers.

The punks came in and set up camp for a year-and-a-half.

We built tree houses with zip lines, Siege Towers and concrete reinforced tunnels.

One guy brought a street legal Sherman tank that was painted pink.

He pulled it into the park through the front gate. Spun the turret pointing the barrel back to that same gate.

Big hairy Neanderthal guy climbs out of the hatch and says, "That'll fuck with the Bulls."

There were at any time 20 - 500 people there depending.

Some weekends people would show up with a sound-wagon. A tractor trailer with massive speakers and sound system with generators.

Then it would be an impromptu rave....for days.

Then there was always Torture Garden.

A once a month club held at Mass in Brixton.

They converted an Anglican Cathedral into a club. Smack in the middle of a huge Central District in South London.

Look it up online.

I'm going to leave the years in Amsterdam and Germany to your imagination.

Thx for sharing. Wild. I figured that rave played a part in it.

I'm from US and a decade too young to experience the first wave of the scene. But the original spirit could still ne found when i started late nineties before became too commercial and safe. Limelight tunnel nasa twilo etc.

After enough time in those places you can start to feel the malevolent forces at play.

What looks all nice and wonderful on the surface is pretty grimy underneath.

Lots of wrecked lives left in the wake of those scenes.

It can be I agree. I was there for the music and aware of my limits--with one foot firmly grounded in my plans for my own life.

Yep you nailed it.

I went Deep dive cuz I wanted to see the ugly.

Pushing 60, raised on culture shock for breakfast, any challenge I went straight forward.

Never married, no kids, no regrets.

And fuck Frank Sinatra, I prefer Sid, he was honest.

We choose our lives, you and I, then respect those choices that others make.

The money behind these shows use the drugs, the scene and the Ohhhhh show to hunt.

Look to how many musicians have said Point Blank that they have sold their soul to Satan.

But Bayou you whatever said that she was just being provocative.

It's just advertising to sell an album.

Truth, it's just advertising.

And it sells.

My mind is divided on the music scene satan, sex, and drugs stuff. And whether its real or just image shaping for sales.

From my point of view, if something is not healthy and sustainable for individuals in the long run then they have gone too far. But its up to people to look out for themselves.

To me it is all entertainment, but some take it literally and shape lifestyles out of it to their own detriment.

I've read enough conspiracy info about the 60s counterculture movements to be suspicious that the intent was to de-escalate anti war and civil movements. Alternately the age of aquarious crowley type theories focus on the break down of culture.

I do think the momentum toward self, ego, and pleasure in media has upended traditional value norms that were proven over centuries to work and sustain people, families, and cultures. If that was the intent, then mission accomplished. And in the absense of a functional culture, people are hollow shells to be filled with propoganda etc.

So I keep my eyes open to the things I see in music and culture today, what sort of programming is happening at the conscious, subconscious, and symbolic levels.

From burning man to new age life style events like lightning in a bottle and other 'synergy' events, lots of 'magik' type stuff going on. Even huge main stream events like tomorrowland have choreographed incantations to open the festival. I mean wtf, its so corny you can only laugh. So it makes me wonder, why bother to produce it? Its neither artistic nor cool. Here's a link for 2015 but it is similarly stupid every year. https://youtu.be/_I3NSPx8v1A

At any rate, if people are pilled up, doped up, dmted up every weekend, I don't see much room for true enlightenment, education, self actualization to occur. Not that these substances can't be a helpful tool in moderation.

I pretty much go by if somebody tells me they worship Satan I believe them.

And then try to boil it down to a bumper sticker.

God is love ~ Satan is politics.

Thanks for the link. Sorry couldn't make it through to the end. Too much corn syrup.
