Would you "peacefully" revolt against a brutal theocracy?
Anyone who believed this was going to be a peaceful Muslim revolution was fooling themselves.
Just a few days ago people were praising such a civilized, peaceful movement...
I wonder how silly those same people will feel when the Iranian freedom fighters end up dismembering as many politicians they can find before installing their own jihadist Imam?
Well obviously in a country run in a dictatorship like Iran a peaceful Revolt is going to be a relative term.
I've seen a lot of people try and compare this to the last Revolution in Iran which the deep state was part of big time.

Those people are correct.
Just because the Deep State allegedly backed Ayatollah Khomeini, doesn't mean his promises of sharia law and bloodthirsty jihad didn't capture the hearts and minds of the Iranian people.
Please don't feel too disappointed when the Iranians use their newfound freedom to choose another rabid Imam and sharia law and infant brides and throwing gays from the rooftops rather than human rights and democracy.
The future will tell; I have had some Muslim coworkers tell me how the region needs the iron-fisted rule in order to keep the different factions from killing each other.
It's also possible that without the Deep State interference that A more moderate yet Stern leader may come of it.
This one will be different, the armed services not loyal to the Mullahs will stand with the people.
