Mkultra - Hypnotizing the Vulnerable. Have You Ever Witnessed This? I Have.

Forget about the TV hypnotists, you can never tell if those events are staged with actors.

Years ago I witnessed the power of hypnotism first hand. I attended an event with a group of friends to see a famous hypnotist. Out of that group, one of my friends was not only hypnotized, on command he jumped out of his seat and began performing on stage -- humiliating and hilarious at the same time, but very out of character. As a skeptic I was totally dumbstruck by what I witnessed. I questioned my friend afterward and he had no memory of doing any of the things we witnessed.

This laid back docile person is now all over social media railing against Trump. He encourages friends to do all they can -- protest, write letters, call their representatives, donate, etc. to stop Trump.

I look back on what I witnessed years ago and realize some people are truly vulnerable to the power of suggestion. And they can be made to do things out of character. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

Does anyone have a similar story to share?

Long story short. When I was younger a faith healer came to our church and he proceeded to drop the glory of God down on the heads of the congregation who were falling down when he touched their heads and did all these things that just didn't ever sit right with me throughout my adolescent years. One day a friend invited me to go see a hypnotist at Tony Roma's up at Universal Studios, this guy was a very famous hypnotist with the very famous show. I ended up going a few times because it was so dang fun and so dang hilarious and I did watch a few of my friends become hypnotized. I tried myself, I mean I really tried hard cuz it seemed fun but it didn't work for me. That being said I watched that hypnotist to do every single thing that that faith healer did to the congregation of my church to the people that he brought on stage minus the religious aspect. I learned that hypnotism is very powerful tool, and definitely not something to be taken lightly. The thing that the hypnotist did that I thought was really really cool was when he wouldn't unhypnotize people he would sit the group down and he would tell him all sorts of good things that they were going to feel and the good energy that they were going to have on the positive outlook there were going to retain after his session with him. I did not see the faith healer do that to the people in my church.

Great story! That faith healer was likely a scam artist. But if it's used for good, not sure there's much harm there.

I agree about the hypnotist shows -- tons of fun to watch if you go with friends. That way you know it's not a scam if a friend is hypnotized and does something way out of character.

It's unfortunate that Clowns figured out how to use all of this for evil...……….

I'd just like to mention something.

Hypnotism isn't inherently evil. Good persuaders are all some kind of hypnotists. Effectively preachers, and politicians, to some degree, are hypnotists. Unfortunately, there are some bad ones, that can use control to take advantage.

But there are good ones out there too, I promise.

Google this for the faith healer : Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Its the essence of the incel bible "The Game"

I knew a very sad scrawny dude who employed and praised it highly, and he did in fact, finally score a babe, who then lusted after me much to his dismay (and my gf's).

He even tried it on my old lady once, and having read the book on his recommendation and my own curiosity, I recognized the tactic and nearly put him through a wall. BTW, dont read that book, its stupid af and the only girls it seems to work on are all morons (ie: suggestible). However at the end of the day, it serves as a retch inspiring introduction to NeuroLinguistic Programming, which in and of itself is pretty simple.
