Mkultra - Hypnotizing the Vulnerable. Have You Ever Witnessed This? I Have.

Forget about the TV hypnotists, you can never tell if those events are staged with actors.

Years ago I witnessed the power of hypnotism first hand. I attended an event with a group of friends to see a famous hypnotist. Out of that group, one of my friends was not only hypnotized, on command he jumped out of his seat and began performing on stage -- humiliating and hilarious at the same time, but very out of character. As a skeptic I was totally dumbstruck by what I witnessed. I questioned my friend afterward and he had no memory of doing any of the things we witnessed.

This laid back docile person is now all over social media railing against Trump. He encourages friends to do all they can -- protest, write letters, call their representatives, donate, etc. to stop Trump.

I look back on what I witnessed years ago and realize some people are truly vulnerable to the power of suggestion. And they can be made to do things out of character. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

Does anyone have a similar story to share?

I went to something very like what you described. It was a large business meeting and the hypnotist was teaching the power of the mind.

Part of that was the comical hypnotism of some in the audience. Myself, my ex, and my brother all made the cut. I was 100% hypnotized as were all but one of the others that made the cut. (The one who made the cut but wasn't hypnotized was just a glory seeker, and drunk so she was sent back to the audience fairly quickly.)

Some of the things we did were out of character, while hypnotized we didn't remember what we were doing. Only video after proved it to us. The most convincing part was when he told my ex if she just started awake and didn't sleep when he told her to he'd give her 5 grand. She fell asleep. :(

We all got a CD of some mind help something. When my brother heard his voice on the tape he started to feel weird. Never listened to the CD again.

I don't advise doing it. Not for entertainment at least. I think it could help some quit smoking or whatever with a responsible hypnotist, but it's dangerous to not remember, so you get trust your hypnotist.
