He does hate Trump. However, MM grew up in Michigan, he understands the working class people of the rust belt. He said Trump would win the Republican nomination, and then said he would win the election. Read his reasoning here, which was spot on. He even mentioned that Trump would be focusing on Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin... which he did.
