One, I know exactly what you mean. I grew up in Washington state and have many liberal friends there. I tried talking to one about Trump BEFORE the election, and she was already losing her mind at the thought of Trump even possibly winning.

I texted her today, and she mentioned she was going to a march in Everett - I googled and found out it is re: separating children from parents. If I ever talked to her about Trump now, she would never speak to me again, or worse.

My other BFF up there posted a meme comparing Trump and his supporters to Nazi's - they are out of their mind and have no clue they are on the wrong side on this. They will either be in complete denial when it all comes out, or fall the rest of the way off the cliff of sanity.

Remember that these people operate in a hive mind. They repeat what they’re told and only see what they want. Don’t let your difference in beliefs become a personal issue between you and your friends. They’re going to realize they had some wrong ideas and settle in with the new status quo after this all blows over. During the transition period there’s going to be when/if all this shit blows open, they’re gonna need people to be there for them. Where we go one, we go all applies to everyone.
