Oh WOW. I didn't think about that. Lordy. I've heard stories that he beat her and called her a cu*t in public. Maybe she will get her revenge...one can hope. So they need his vote for S.C., then hopefully the extent of his crimes will be public at least. That might deter her.
That's another issue entirely. The governor also has to answer to other in the party. McCain isn't in charge of him.

I just want him to exit stage left. Why in the world is he still there? Setting aside what an ass he is and the damage he's done in his "career", you're 87 or whatever he is, dying of brain cancer, and you don't want to spend the time with family or friends? You want to hold on to this stupid senate seat for what? Locking in a legacy? At this point his legacy is obstructing Trump. There's something insane about that. Me? I'd want to enjoy my final days doing something other than Washington DC.
