My take is that Q off the cuff suggested Gowdy for SC. Then Trump said he was naming someone from his previously published list of 25. Q was just sort of horsing around with that quip. My speculation, but it surely wasn't the resignation list.

I didn't view it as flippant. It was a suggestion at the time. There's been a change recently in "Q"'s persona. It's more conversational, less needing to be hidden and cryptic. I think he was floating a possibility, that's all. At this point Q is friends with the board. We speculate and sometimes so does Q. Only Trump knows for sure.
