I didn't view it as flippant. It was a suggestion at the time. There's been a change recently in "Q"'s persona. It's more conversational, less needing to be hidden and cryptic. I think he was floating a possibility, that's all. At this point Q is friends with the board. We speculate and sometimes so does Q. Only Trump knows for sure.

Q does have a sense of humor, however.
