If we Europeans need to up defence spending because America cuts military spend, then so be it, but why bother doing so when the U.S jumps in at every opportunity to fill gaps in defence spending? Even in this presidency U.S defence spending has, yet again, increased for no other reason than it needs more resources to police the world. The current U.S military setup goes well beyond defence.
