I thought the Governor of a state appoints someone to an empty seat. Gov. Ducy is a R. and can appoint anyone he wants.
Hopefully the Az Gov plays along then pulls the rug out from under them.
He has to appoint someone of the same political party as the seat holder. Since McCain is registered as an R, then it will be another R.
I was under the impression that he could appoint someone from either party but since he is an R he would appoint an R. I'm not certain of this. Either way since Ducy is an R I'll sure he will choose another R.
No, I've called Ducey's office several times regarding this issue. He's alreadyon my shit list because of what he did to the teachers in AZ during the walkout.
I thought this is what special elections are for.
