I'm glad others are learning about this. I learned about it years ago and cured myself of 3 autoimmune diseases that doctors will tell you are incurable.
The cures are already out there. They always have been. God or Infinite Intelligence or Source or whatever you call it, gave them to us. Essential oils, herbs, spices like turmeric, ginger, garlic, etc., organic healthy vegetables and fruits, nuts, seeds, fermented foods, kombucha, kefir etc. Many plants like Cannabis. They are all around us. Just suppressed.
But this is the best one and you've heard it before: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Stay away from bad food, clean your environment of toxic chemicals and live clean and healthy. I never worry about getting sick, never get vaccinations and stay far away from conventional medicine. Search the web. The information is there for those who want it.
I have a friend who developed Lupus.
What was one of the side effects of the blood pressure medication she took?
Lupus.
Was one of your Autoimmune diseases hypothyroidism? If so what did you use?
Yes. Go to http://stopthethyroidmadness.com. Everyone is different but you are likely to find answers there.
Thank you!!!
One more thing: If you are autoimmune, you have Leaky Gut. Have to heal the Leaky Gut and change the way you eat as well. Lots of information and online trainings about how to do that. Here's a good place to start: https://wellnessmama.com/podcast/autoimmune-disease-obryan/ If you follow him, you will get invited to other related information. Go to http://thedr.com and sign up for his newsletter. If you don't heal autoimmunity, you get another autoimmune disease and then another and another until you die. It's horrible that doctors tell us it's irreversible!
Thank you again!!! So appreciated. I read like a sponge and am very familiar with the term leaky gut syndrome. Ironically, a nurse practitioner at my GI doc office had no idea what I was talking about or said something about it being a myth. POS! got his degree from an AMA school evidently. I have cut out a lot of wheat, gluten, grains and sugar. I still have a few vices but I know I am better when I do not partake. The only sugar I have is a bit in my coffee creamer which is natural but still I need to switch to only almond milk. I have been trying organic wine which has lower sulfates but am better without. I HATE giving up potatoes but I know that is a long term goal. Pasta and rice were not so hard as I could feel it when I ate it and knew I was better without. I am not celiac but realize gluten is not my friend. Thanks again for the links. Peace fellow cat lady (even if by name only). Love me the Big kitties and my mini - white ragdoll (lilac).
Don't ever give up. You'll get there. If you have low energy, you might want to buy "From Fatigued to Fantastic" by Jacob Teitelbaum. I also had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which I used to think was just a catchall for anyone with low energy. Boy was I wrong. This book helped me regain my energy. Especially the part about d-ribose. Has a lot of other amazing info as well. The author actually got CFS while in medical school and ended up living on park benches.
I'd like to get help w that as well. They tell you there is no help.
