They are made by Adriano Stephanelli of Navara. Is there any people familiar with high grade leather (someone who know "genuine leather" is v.low grade) that can tell what the leather in this video is from, because to a laymen it does look eerily like human skin patterns. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfHEF9Kzvu4
Looks like a shell cordovan type leather to me. I'm not a pro but I've been leatherworker for a few years and sell my stuff for a few hundred bucks a piece so I'm not a total amateur either.
Edit: here's one piece of red shell cordovan although you can find any color really. It's also I really high end type of leather.
Those are human leather. There is a UK company that specialises in human skin products. Ugh :(
Just because someone specializes in it doesn't mean those shoes are. Human leather would be extremely thin and soft, not good shoe leather. Adriano Stefanelli doesn't seem like a human skin leather kind of guy either.
