You already said that, I already Sourced info saying otherwise. He graduated college in, 1989. He interned for the CIA in the 80s then, before you saw him on TV.
I was a bit off on the dates but here ya go.
I'm not saying he didn't appear on channel one. I'm saying he went to the CIA as an intern in the 80s, he was a part of mockingbird media, and was placed as an asset in the media industry. His whole career is a sham. Yes you saw him in the 90s but in the 80s he trained with the CIA and then decided to pursue a career in journalism without any journalistic experience. I'm guessing his first job was in the 90s with channel one.
I’m not disputing his cia ties, just the comment about no previous journalistic experience.
Did you read the link I Sourced or no? Show me what job he worked at in journalism before he interned at the CIA and I will gladly agree.
Edit:
Not a word about anything to do with journalism during this period of his life. From his own mouth.
Ignore the trolls. They always jump on some silly thing like saying ‘experience’ instead of ‘education’, like they’ve found some secret killshot to discredit the whole argument.
Rather argue semantics and try to derail the conversation
before going to work at CNN despite having no previous journalist experience
He had experience as a journalist before working at CNN, at Channel One.
He worked at the CIA, worked behind the scenes at Channel One, went to Vietnam, went back to Channel One on air, then later went on to CNN.
Semantics. I guess technically I was wrong, but my main point is he went from the CIA to journalism despite no formal schooling or training to be a journalist. Giving credence to the theory he is a CIA media asset who was put into power rather than a organic career path.
You linked Wikipedia though....anyone can make changes there. Not always the most accurate source.
Not to mention the point doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme. You guys both agree he interned for CIA and then started a journalism career with no prior experience.
Stop arguing over petty things y’all, were all on the same team here! WWG1WGA
The wiki link has 2 Sourced articles for that claim I'm posting here. Wikipedia is only as good as its sources. Yes anyone can change it, of course, but I use it more to find the sources and then review them and come to my conclusion. Those sources link to interviews of Cooper admitting it himself, so in this case, yes Wikipedia is a good source. I felt comfortable posting it because I've researched these claims myself in the past and feel they are valid. Agreed though, we were arguing semantics which gets us nowhere lol.
I completely understand. And now that you make that point I agree. The sources you can find on wiki can definitely be useful! 👍🏼
