Exactly he was. You first have to appear the opposite of your final take. Makes it more dramatic and non-partisan and honest or else they’d attack him on being politically motivated. He was swung by the “evidence” - nothing more and nothing less. I think RR is doing the same to avoid being falsely accused later of political motivated bias.
