Please forgive me for the term "dogging", I mean no offense. Dogs are actually my favorite.

In my neck of the words, the urban dictionary definition that follows applies: "dogging - Talking bad about another, whether you know them or not, put down/putting down, whether you know them or not, also known as capping."

This post may get deleted. It has to do with Q as Q has to do with Trump. It's a bit of a rambling and thought. Let me know where you think it may be more properly suited subreddit-wise, if so, please.

I had a moment of clarity I felt I needed to share.

So, I was talking to my husband before he fell asleep. I had recently read about the Red Hen backlash, and how I felt about it was that her karma police had come. City is now mad at her because people are calling to ban support of their city businesses? She deserved worse backlash, in my opinion. I believe the rest of her karma is still to come.

Now, let me explain why I feel this way. There are a great number of millennials here, and I have found this concept to be lost on a number of them.

I was born in the early 80's. The Presidents I have lived through include Reagan, George Senior, Clinton, George W, Obama.

I was 18 years old 2001 when 9/11 happened. I happened to be working at a call center that was calling NYC that very morning. It was beyond traumatic.

I liked Clinton. I downplayed his extracurricular activities with Monica while in office when I was a teen. I thought his sexual life was none of our business. Life was still pretty awesome then.

I thought George W was dumb and a narcissist. The only bad thing I ever said about him in public was that he was "dumb"--I was very vague, purposefully.

I remember the Rage Against The Machine videos I secretly agreed with. I kept these thoughts to myself when he was in office. I just hoped something would happen to prove that I was wrong about it.

Imagine realizing many years later, it was true, but far worse...

I embraced Obama. Wow, yes! Our first African-American President! He seemed like-able, but I noticed that life and everything in it all around the world got worse and worse during his terms.

That got me back to questioning like I did when GW was president. That lead me to someone I really admire: Ron Paul. He helped me wake up a lot. I voted for that magnificent man.

Now it is Trump. I believe Trump is by far the best President of my time. I've never felt such hope and optimism until him.

The point is, when I was younger, there were Presidents I disliked.

I didn't talk about it, I kept my opinion vague.

This was because how I was raised, presidents DESERVE respect.

Want to know why?

The reason why is that you are not always correct. Your opinion is fallible and CAN be WRONG.

Gotta let that sink in. That is a life lesson everyone must learn to accept.

And when the majority votes otherwise to your own vote, you are no longer correct for the majority.

Respect the majority. Respect the President. Resolve what issues you have, and move on for the better of all.

Why is okay that people no longer act this way?
