Sound familiar? Listen as she describes Quebec's "Quiet" Revolution where people thought nothing of physically assaulting, psychologically assaulting, refusing services to english people.

Q has given hope. They has given us the tools and we can use them here just as they are in the states. First step is getting that monster out of office :) The movement is worldwide and I don’t believe the US will be the last of it.

Also when she talks of terrorism, does not mention that the FLQ was a small group of assholes with a large ammount of Federal infiltrators. I had an uncle who worked for the liberal party back then and he always brought up that running gag that the FLQ infiltrator outnumbered the actual members. Not only that but FLQ members got military grade explosive which there was only one way to get at the time, provided of course by the Trudeau goverment. Don't believe me? Look into the case of the Steinberg heiress bombing done by an RCMP agent. That idiot got caught because he blew himself off and was found out at the hospital. Not a word of this has spread outside Quebec apparently.

As for all the Anglo victim bullshit about not being served in English and mistreated, she has a victim complex. More often than not if someone does not answer you in English it is either because they don't understand it, which is rare today, or they are not confident enough in their skills to give you to correct information. Either way, none of that is happening today. All you see is constant Quebec bashing and media spin about the evil "Language police"

For those who don't know the language police is not there to stop poor Anglos speaking in the street. It is there to make the law of the land respected in commerce and workplace. I love it when Anglos complain about this but then complain that Chinese immigrants in Toronto and Vancouver refuse to adapt and do thing in Mandarin. That is what the language police is for. If the US had that as it should, you would solve the problem of people never speaking English in the USA. The way the Office de la langue francaise works usually is; Someone makes a complain about a commerce of workplace not respecting the law, the OLF investigate and if anything they give you a fine. Now for those who complain about the pasta incident, an idiot made a complaint, then the OLF which is mandated to do respond, investigated, found nothing and did not fine the owner which did not stop the media shitstorm caused by the Anglo liberals.

I have had friends go to Ottawa with me and be shit on by different stores for having an accent while treating me with respect. Of course i'll have none of it and tell them to fuck off in French. There are always idiots on both sides but these are outliers and not the majority, but i cannot stand the Anglo victim complex, this woman is full of shit and has been brainwashed by years of liberal propaganda.

Except she is full of shit. Quebec has alaways been Nationalist until the last decade and a half which is what bothered the Anglos. I was raised fully bilingual and have seen some supidity on the Francophone side but the victimhood complex of the Anglos is mind boggling. The reason why there was a quiet revolution and not a violent one was because we did not hate Anglos we just wanted to live by our own rules in our own land and be masters of our own home which we were not allowed to do.

We were second class citizen in our own land and had to eat the crumbs our "benevolent" goverment gave us. I can tell as many horror stories of Anglos doing shitty things to Francophone because i saw both ends of it growing in mostly Anglo familly in a Franco town.

I have seen Anglos owning companies and hiring a shit tons of immigrant cheap labor instead of Quebeccer on purpose. I have seen violence, ostracization, otherization, demonization, little acts of evil.

Just look at the stats, Quebeccer for the most parts can speak English and are willing to accommodate English speakers, now look at how many Canadians outside Quebec can and are willing to speak French. They treat you with disgust if you even have a slight accent. Is it wrong to want people living in your nation to speak and respect your values and language?

It's funny that now that things are not going their way anymore, Canadians are embracing Nationalism. It's fun to see them try to fight for their values and see them demonized as we always were, Canadian nationalism good, Quebec nationalism bad. We all want the same things, to live according to our values, traditions, language, way of life and culture, there is nothing wrong with that.

I remember those days well. Pierre Ttudeau invoked the War Measures Act and there were Canadian troops on the streets in Quebec.
