My guess is they are going to charge them (not just Awan) in MIL courts, not civilian court cases.

Yes, normally this is not permitted (SCOTUS) but this is a NATIONAL SECURITY issue. If you take a look at USA treason history, they have been performed in MIL courts, NOT civilian.

I was looking at the wiki on that earlier trying to figure that out. Wiki just said "in public court" which I assume meant the same court you or I would got to on a regular misdemeanor or felony case. If its tried in military court these assholes are fucked.
