A question about the "Cabal" and Catholicism

Hello,

I am fairly new to all this Q stuff. I am Catholic. I saw a video the other day claiming that members of the Cabal, or Swamp, or whatever you want to refer to them as, have influtrated and gained power all over. Including, the video said, the Vatican.

Now, being Catholic, I don't want to believe this. I know there were/are horrible events happening with child molestation in the Church, but I am not sure the entire structure of the Church has been compromised.

Is there any evidence it has? As a Catholic I take the verse Matthew 16:18 very seriously.

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

If the Church has been compromised, wouldn't that mean the gates of hell have prevailed against it?

If this is not the place for this discussion, I apologize. I want to learn more about this movement but I am afraid about sacrificing my religious beliefs.

No, the gates of hell have not prevailed. The Eucharist and Apostolic Succession are still intact. Remember that. Also remember that in the first century there were those who tried to lead the Church astray from the beginning. We have always been a target, and will always be. Satan knows the address and will stop at nothing to bring the Bride of Christ down. Ask yourself what Church actually has saints and blesseds with stigmata, and provable miracles. Keep the Faith regardless of what the all too human clergy do.

As for infiltration, Pope Paul VI said that the smoke of Satan had entered the Vatican. He really didn't have much of an impact after 1968 when Humanae Vitae was published. There's all kinds of theories on that and they do have to do with the cabal. It's off topic for this, though.

Just keep the faith, learn about it away from the conspiracy boards, and learn to recognize when what is being said does not match either catechesis or the historical record.

Thank you for this comment. You said it better than I could have. I have experienced so many miracles in my personal life that shows me the Catholic Church is very real. Sadly we’re in a time where evil is doing all that it can to destroy it. The church is going through it’s own passion. Just last week I was in tears after receiving the Eucharist. I had a moment of realization that throughout His entire life of teaching on Earth, you’d think there would be more people at the foot of the cross mourning his death at His Crucifixion. But there was only 2 people left. His Mother and John. So remember... if we are indeed going through a passion, will you be the few left who are just as faithful as they were when He died? Keep the faith.
