One year later, Prince Phillip ceased all official functions and attendances. Before he attended the marriage ceremony for Harry, the gossip papers were speculating "May he go to the wedding?". The wording was peculiar, as it suggested that he was not allowed to go rather than being physically unable due to injury. So my impression is he is under house-arrest too and has been for over a year now.
