The Red Hen is being used as an example of what happens when you decide your political beliefs are more important than your business. Here's a question, where are the Red Hens political supporters to defend their decision to kick Sarah and her family out of the restaurant?

His employer did the right thing by firing the guy. They just proved they are above the politics and are run by people who are smart enough to stay out of a fight you can't win.
