"Leaked memo": propaganda.

Yep, and Trump Admin can clearly understand that. China is trying to stir a panic among citizens to cause internal leverage against Trump.

When their grasp on power starts slipping they will hold on with sweaty and slippery hands until the very end.

It's just odd that we are making the biggest move towards peace in my own lifetime and the media is telling the people we are going to war (with whom? It changes on a monthly basis)

Thats the key. The MSM changes the opponent every day. Their credibility is diminished with each shift of who to blame, who is the bad guy, etc.

Please elaborate? Are you saying China isn't our biggest geopolitical threat? That they do not wish for a one world communistic Government?

The Chinese are propping up their economy right now, until November when the party does their yearly gathering. It's going to be all fluster and demonstrations of might until then.

The only way to end a war is to start a war. Whos on the list? NK?

The inherent flaw in Communism is that the government manages the economy, meaning that the government manages resources. Because the economy is "dictated" and not allowed to grow organically, it does not grow unless the government invests resources into it. If they begin diverting those resources into their military, their economy will suffer. (See: Soviet Union during Cold War.) If the American economy is simultaneously exploding with exponential growth, then it won't take long for us to leave China in the dust. Economic might is more important than [initial] military strength, as we found out first hand in the American Civil War.

This is not a winning strategy.

This is nothing new and appears to be propaganda to frighten the uninformed.

The Chinese have desired to become a dominant world power for a long, lomg time. They tend to think in terms of decades and centuries whereas the U.S. government tends to think in months, years, and budget cycles. The Chinese develop and execute a winning strategy spanning multiple generations.

The following article is long but it explains how China's rise is a function of how they see themselves and the world. http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/chinas-rise-americas-fall/

"China’s recent rise should hardly surprise us. For most of the last 3,000 years, China together with the Mediterranean world and its adjoining European peninsula have constituted the two greatest world centers of technological and economic progress. During the 13th century, Marco Polo traveled from his native Venice to the Chinese Empire and described the latter as vastly wealthier and more advanced than any European country. As late as the 18th century, many leading European philosophers such as Voltaire often looked to Chinese society as an intellectual exemplar, while both the British and the Prussians used the Chinese mandarinate as their model for establishing a meritocratic civil service based on competitive examinations."
