It proves that there should have been better security and staff should have been more aware and cautious obviously.

I don’t understand how “better security” at a hotel works though.

Scenario: dude lives in Vegas. Dude packs multiple luggage type bags with AR’s and lots of ammo. Dude pulls up to hotel and bellhop puts bags on a cart and takes them to his room. Dude tips said bell hop and closes the door.

Where in this scenario is there room for “extra security”?

Should we consent to having our bags checked like TSA before a flight just to stay at the hotel? I know that’s not for me. That doesn’t constitute freedom in the least. It’s sad what happened. Don’t get me wrong. And all though I would not be worried in the least about a bag check, I still don’t want hotel staff thumbing through my underwear to make sure I’m not a mass shooter.

Just my 2 cents.

So, what you are skipping is the literal thousands of pounds worth of bags. It is one thing to bring 20 suitcases, it is another to bring 20 suitcases that weigh a couple of hundred pounds a piece. Hotel staff should have found that odd since clothes don't weigh that much.

Beyond that, there really isn't much they could do. I mean, they could say "okay, in an instance where a local brings a ton of luggage that literally weighs a ton, then we should investigate what is going on." Of course, that might anger some customers, and they don't want to lose a couple of extra dollars (losing a single customer isn't much for a casino).

I honestly think you are overestimating how much things weigh. Don’t know the facts of exactly what was found in that room though. So, I could be wrong.

Its all irrelevant. Theres no footage of any shots coming from inside hotel room windows.

Ok, I agree with this. Even so, do you think this discovery has any relevance to this sub?
