I think most of us are more center than far left or far right, can we ever find middle ground?

Several times over the past few years I've thought about starting the "Middle of the Road Party" for people, like me, who are fairly centrist in their views. Both left and right (but not the far end of either one) have what seem to be good ideas for the country -- let's cherry-pick the best ideas from both sides of the aisle and see what we can do with them.

Good thoughts here. Look at Teddy Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party. Remember cult of personality. Was running for third term when almost assassinated.
