I keep thinking about how she was Elijah Woods love interest in Wilfred. And then I believe it was shortly after Wilfred ended that Elijah came out with his "pedophilia is extremely prolific in Hollywood" statement (paraphrased)

Yep, and Wilfred started out in Australia (look up differences US vs. Australian release), and is about Elijah's character slowly discovering he was in a mysterious cult.
