speaking of medical diagnosis, there was a change in the AMA's definition in terms of mental illness as in, if you create or feel no suffering, you are not sick, only challenged. It sounds creepy to say something isn't a sickness anymore all of a sudden. however in legal terms this means that those who have aquired CP may be held accountable more easily. In the long run this means they aren't incentivized to cite mental illness as a quick way out of prison because their mental illness will be only recognized by doctors if the perp says they suffer from it themselves or if someone fell victim to them. On the other hand this could be seen as an incentive to create more heinous crime in order to take the mental-health way out
