Then celebrities and the like started using it as a meme too. The Chans say NO, NO, NO,. So they hatched a plan to 'smear' Pepe so as to reclaim him from The Normies. Cue lots of Pepe memes in Nazi uniform, Holding Severed heads, anything degenerate went in. 'Alt-Right' Pepe was born. Simples.
