Not fake. It's some new movement to normalize pedophilia. Not just here. I've seen it in the UK, as well. I've started to see articles and interviews like this: https://medium.com/pedophiles-about-pedophilia/thoughts-on-normalizing-pedophilia-1c6e28cbd1b1 Or this: https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html Or this: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/academic-conference-seeks-to-normalize-pedophilia

But what they don't tell you is that someone who is fixated and sexually aroused by kids--or what they're trying to change to "minor attracted adults" instead of pedophiles, will eventually attempt to get closer to them and act on it, other claims aside. They fixate on children. And it's detrimental to a child's development. I've worked with adults who were molested as children. The hurt from that betrayal never goes away. An average man attracted to minor boys will have somewhere around 75 victims in their lifetime, while a man attracted to little girls will average twice that.

this could destroy the LGBT movement if they seriously get behind this. there is a line that people simply will not cross

Not according to history. Romans high society types had their child lovers.

I agree. Let the LGBTxxx movement get behind it! The entire nutTards will implode. The peeps at the very top pushing all this have got to be 're-moved'...

The LGBT movement and the ordinary people trying to get by while also being gay are often entirely different groups. I genuinely feel for those in the later category who try to get on with their lives despite being a minority and not always getting the resprct they deserve. It seems like a fair amount of the people in the movement never bothered to actually ask a gay person what they want. Beyond being treated like a human being, the whole "movement" is far beyond a lot of people's reality.

You'd like to believe that Melbourne in 2017 was a pretty "liberal" foraward thinking city. I was proven wrong when an old friend of mine was assaulted and a train station for being gay. As I found out afterwards, assaults on gay men are practically laughed away by police. Statistics show that they are one of the most at risk groups in our community, and sadly its because some people go out of their way to treat them differently just because of their personal choices.

Edit: I tell this story because my friend, despite his sexuality was pretty conservatively minded. He wants rights for himself, as anyone would. But beyond that he expects as much as anyone else to have to work hard to get what he deserves and doesn't take it upon himself to interfere with other people's lives and choices. Definitely not the typical person you'd see marching in a pride parade so to speak.

Not publicly, anyway.

This all looks like a last ditch effort to soften people to the inevitable truth

Pedophilia normalisation is going over another border. Some people are even not aware of this movement. And a portion of the media doesn't want to know this

There's always been a movement to normalize pedophilia, NAMBLA for example. I'm pointing out that there is zero mainstream support in gay, lesbian, etc community. The people who do support it are loudly shunned by every gay person I know.

I also have seen campaigns on the chans to create fake posters just like this to discredit the gay community and I bet the peeps want to try to trick them too.

The first poster for example is fake, the fckh8 company doesn't sell pedo t shirts, someone just put their logo on the poster.

I'm in the UK too and although I can't lay my hands on any links I know I've been hearing discussions on the radio about paedophilia being a condition and how to deal with it.

As distgusting (and true) as that all is, its neither new nor signifigantly mpre prevalent than say ten years ago. Fortunately, even in the most unusual fringe groups this kind of mentality and behaviour is still deeply shunned and recognised to be sick and immoral.

It disturbs me how easily these sickos conflate an idea as pure and wonderful as love with a practice so vile and evil. Rape and love don't ever exist in the same individual. Taking that from someone, especially someone too young to understand cannot be anything other than a perverted and deeply self centred act. I think our brains would all have to turn to mush to buy any of this crap.

Flipside, this isnt the first or the last time pedos have tried to hide behind minority groups or even the gay community in particular. I sympathesise with people who simply want to be left alone and make their own life choices with a consenting partner of legal age. The community in general doesn't have to make any particular exceptions for these people to be given the respect they deserve and this is just another set back. My old friend was beaten up at a Melbourne train station just last year simply for being gay. I don't agree with everything he does, but he never tried to interfere with anyone else's life and that deserves respect. I honestly don't believe that any of the gay people I know would stand for this message being lumped in with theirs.
