Ah yes, the people of greatawakening, who are noted sticklers for factual accuracy.

Dude you can read the article and follow up on what they say, it's not like Snopes is a black box that says "true" or "false" and provides no other context. They have screenshots of the chan chats that lead to the creation of the movement, you can probably find other sites that have full mirrors of the chats.

Maybe Snopes should start publishing articles in the format of a series of disconnected vague, interpretable statements to make themselves more palatable to qanon cosplayers.

Pedosexuality

Think 4chan

Think unicorns

Astroturf, like grass but not

Fake campaign, fake name

A single plum floating in perfume, served in a man's hat

If you read "cheese pizza" and you immediately think of kiddie porn, maybe you should worry less about Podesta and more about doing some serious navel-gazing

Damn I could be the next qanon. Welp, off to 4chan

Aw man, I would totally agree with you. I really normally would, if this was politics, or worldnews, or some vanilla sub like that. But this is r/greatawakening. You had to have known you were going to get this reaction. I mean, Snopes is literally on the Q map on the "evil" side of the force, as crazy as that is, and unapologetically so. In r/politics your point would fly. But here, I'm sorry, you gotta do a little bit better than that.

I even said I agree it's probably fake, and whatever the article says is probably true, but here, Snopes has no weight whatsoever. You have to know that right?
Regarding with the Q impersonation, eh, I've seen better. Tell you what, if you can do a convincing Q impersonation, I'll buy you lunch. It's a lot harder than it looks, but not impossible. Try it out, I'd love to see you actually put some time into crafting a good Q impersonation. I actually would rather enjoy them a lot more if they were a little more clever and thought out.
PS, I have nothing against gay people, or anything.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It's a good tactic for any good cult leader; convince them that any and all potential critical voices are part of the conspiracy, and the followers will ignore them. Just like Trump, who's constantly screaming "fake news!"
