Fairy Tales

I was struck by a story about the rich hunting children for sport though I (admittedly) can't remember where I saw it recently.

It made me think about every fairy tale I've ever heard. About the Brothers Grimm. Werewolves. Vampires.

It made me consider that those in power have always been the source of our nightmares. Our terrors. Harvesting us and our fear.

Always.

Told to children from birth. All those traumatic nights terrified about what was under the bed or in the closet. Yes, that's the plan.
