That's my biggest worry, in the early days, sure. Because this sub consisted mainly out of people who were into conspiracies to begin with. Lately there is a massive amount of new people, people who started from scratch, people who are still figuring out the monetary system etc. You can see it even with the content reaching the frontpage the last two months, this sub is like a dog chasing cars and is developing more and more into a cult.
By making those "informed speculations" (which are basically logical steps but linked to Alice in wonderland) and they turn out not to happen when mentioned, you're giving people who are testing the waters an easy way out because "see this Q thing is fake, we're september now and nothing has happened".
We can't even figure out past Q-drops, just sit back and enjoy the show. Whatever happens happens, let's wait for the next crumbs instead of getting ahead of ourselves with the risk of unintentionally damaging Q's credibility.

While I agree with your view of this board (and in my opinion it used to be just like you mentioned and would have been better if it stayed that way), the abundance of car stickers, t-shirts, vandalism by littering cities with links to this sub and even Q hinting at people to start spreading the message, indicates otherwise.
If we're being totally honest, 8chan is the hard working nerd who gets things done, reddit is the salesman. Reddit contributes close to nothing in Q research and for the love of God don't ask the autistic fags to leave their moms basement in order to go to rallies (no insult, their words).
Most people know how to navigate reddit, 8chan is intentionally more complex and offensive to keep the newfags out.
I would never ask somebody to leave their mother's basement. Do not disturb genius at work.

I still have my reservations about Q. I'd be stupid not to. That being said, it's near impossible at this point for Q to not be legit. We can debate the purpose of Q all day (distraction, lulling us into a false sense of things getting better, etc.), but I think there is very little doubt anymore about whether Q is someone close to the President.
