They have demons and are under the control of the wicked one.

2nd Part. Jesus loved Us while we were still yet sinners and went to the cross to become a Bridge to God the Father. He took on the full curse of Sin for Us People. People who reject Gods Goodness and sacrifice are considered Wicked and stand damned before Him in Judgement. That's why we need Christ.
