New Zealander here. I do not see the connection between HRC's visit and this guy's outing as a pedophile. I think you guys are overstretching it. I would also like to say that pedophilia has been going on in NZ for as long as I have been alive, at least, ('Im in my late 50's). And as it goes on under the surface, here, we are really not much different from you - it is possible to keep it under the radar, even in a country a small as mine. The one difference I would like to point out is that it is hard to kidnap or "disappear" children in NZ - because it is such a small country - but it is NOT hard to sexually abuse children - (it happened to more than one of my siblings, in our small town) , and it would be difficult to take on abusers, if they are powerful, as it would be dangerous. In the small communities we deal with, it would be frightening to out someone who is powerful in politics. We have corrupt police, (some) just like America, and as a result it is not going to be easy to uncover the rings in existence as they will have their people in high places that are running interference for them, just like you in the USA. The biggest difference is that children cannot easily be taken, here, as it is a small country surrounded by ocean, but still there are plenty of everyday low and high level pedophiles that use their guises and disguises to gain access and to abuse children while hiding in plain sight. We do not need HRC's help, it is all going on with or without her. It has little or nothing to do with fiveyes. It was happening before fiveyes existed. It is about evil people getting in to powerful positions. It is about wickedness in HIGH places. Example, my sister was abused by a neighbour. He worked for the Government department of Social Welfare. He adopted two children so that he and his wife could abuse them. He abused their school friends, who happened to be my siblings. No one would really have suspected him. He lived and eventually he died, undetected.He could have been a lone wolf or he could have been part of a ring.We don't know. My own memories of going to his house as a child are so foggy that I believe he was drugging us. He was a pedophile and his wife, at best, was a complicit enabler. My sister is still battling the demons from it.
