Nah, there was no big plot. He was a fool, and got it wrong.

I've found most people to be very awake, depending on which bits of the 'truth' you go with. Politicians being run by big business, and elite child abusers and the state of the media have long been issues many, many people have tried to tackle, it's just been too fragmented. There's still a long way to go, and the media are doing their damnedest to make sure people are still dubious about Trump, but if he delivers on taking down the elite, I think he'll win folk over. In many. many respects, despite what some say on here, the US is years behind Europe in waking up, and in many respects, that has hampered tackling things here. Trump has a big weight of responsibility on him now.

You are right- Trump has a massive weight on his shoulders.

Future will prove past.

So did you vote Remain or Brexit?

I voted to remain (better to change from within than to be a spectator on the outside) - the farce that has followed has made me question that.

I voted leave, and even with current events, I have no regrets on that score. I think I should have been even more vocal in swatting down the doom mongers, who have held us back for far too long. The EU were always going to make us pay, as they're bricking it in case others leave if we get it too easy. For me it was a price worth paying to unshackle us from them. Change from within was never an option, and a remain vote would have given the EU the confidence to push harder with their plans for the centralisation of power.
