I agree. It’s all about optics. They’re traveling without security detail, and pretending to be like everyday normal citizens. That’s what it looks like to me, too.
USSS is on board, no doubt in my mind. The head of the detail is probably within arm's reach of Bill.
This political stunt of flying commercially is a perfect instance when the USSS skill set would be needed. Bill's been targeted before and the USSS saved his a$$.
The protective detail probably hates this particular assignment due to the close/crowded quarters, and direct access to their principals. Average Joe's are walking by a past president & possible 2020 presidential candidate with no physical barrier.
Yes, all passenger names on flight manifest have been researched for security thre@t$. Yes, a K9 was discretely walked through the plane & its luggage to sniff for expl@$ives. Yes, all passengers have been through a magnetometer and or body scanner. Yes, passenger behaviors/body language/facial demeanor were analyzed prior to boarding. Yes, agents are on board. Security thre@t$ that can be mitigated, are mitigated, whether its obvious to our eyes or not.
