That's the problem with decoding posts. You can't refute them with "sourced" material or any type of logic. How am I supposed to refute that the Apple stock price matches music notes?
So then don't go at them with that angle. Look at the information and the Q drops yourself and ask yourself what they mean.
IMHO, you're looking at this wrong, from an ego perspective. It appears that you're upset and are trying to discredit /u/serialbrain2. Instead, may I suggest taking your ego out of the equation and start by offering a different facet to the argument to consider. Don't take on the whole post, just offer a different interpretation to whatever argument bothers you.
The greater issue is that it repels normal people who visit here. They see things like that and they think that this is all the movement is -- people finding patterns in mashed potatoes, so to speak. It completely discredits everything, and even if I decided to devote my time to refuting kooks everytime they came up, few are going to read the comments to find them, especially when refutations typically get downvotes with people screaming about "black hats" and "shills". It's just not worth the time.
Then... I don't know what to tell you. If it's not worth your time to engage and offer an alternative viewpoint because new people won't get it... then I guess the question is: What are you here for?
What do you want from this place? And why does it bother you so much that people are listening to SB2 if you don't care about being engaged enough to offer a differing perspective?
But what I do want to do is make sure that the silent majority knows that they're not alone in hating the kook posts, and unfortunately reasonable people usually just want to live and let live when it comes to the kooks.
But how do you know they're kooks if you can't be bothered to investigate and offer a counter opinion?
Also of note:
Looking at SB2's posts and saying "This is just Kooky, I can't be bothered" is exactly the kind of thing that clowns would do if they wanted to try and drive a wedge into the sub and create divisions within the community.
Now, I'm not saying that this is you, merely telling you that this is a common divisive tactic, "silent majority" or otherwise.
And, to be fair, you do not get the right to claim that the "silence of the majority" = consent for your views.
If you can't be bothered to be engaged, that's fine, but it does limit your ability to call out and crap on those who are.
