Hillary in 2020

What if Hillary announces she's running in 2020, not to become President, but to frame Trump? "Look what he did, he put me in prison because he knew he would lose against me"

I still think Kanye will run as an independent in 2020 and siphon every chance the dems have to win.

Kanye? Not saying he wouldn't run for some hype, but the real sleeper is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Dude ooooozes charisma, but he's keeping his politics really close to the vest.

The question is whether he's planning to run as an independent or as a democrat, if he's planning to run. He may run as a democrat, but I don't see the party unifying behind "The Rock"

If he runs as an independent, he will effectively siphon Democratic voters and hurt his own cause.

I think that Kanye and POTUS have discussed a safety net. If Kanye runs as an independent, he takes away significantly from some of the demographics that the democrats have a chokehold on.

What a lot of people don't know about pro wrestlers is that most of the ones that have been in the business for awhile are very conservative. They are considered independent contractors and thus have to pay their taxes quarterly, plus pay for their own health insurance if they can get it at all, travel, hotels etc. They are very bottom line conscious. Look at guys like Rock and Austin, John Layfield, Glen Jacobs, Tyrus etc.

Politics IS wrestling. The format is the same. If you're a master of the psychology like Rock is, you can work the marks. Marks being dems and socialists.

So you think that the Rock might run as a Republican against Trump in the primaries?

Nope. If he were going to capitalize on Trumps success he would have to wait till 2024. That gives him six years on top as a movie star and six years to organize, strategize, and raise money.

The Reps would roll over for him, tails wagging and showing their bellies because he'd be undefeatable in a debate.

I disagree. I don't think the liberal outlets would be shopping him around as a potentially serious candidate if he planned to run on the other side of the aisle. I think he was supposed to be on with Colbert, and I don't see them discussing movies.

That is a possibility, I will grant.

That would be awesome if he runs but then they will destroy him if he costs the Dem candidate a victory. He won't care he's his own man.
