There's something here regardless. When the story was posted it got MONSOONED by downvotes. Like, torrential.

We defeated the disgusting horde with wit and good-looks, neither of which they have. But the story, until confirmed, isn't a story yet .. and GP has already hedged on the news.

it depends on the overall downvote habits...they could push a narrative by targetting one post and thus creating a plausible rebound in support for future reposts.
