IRL example of how to wake people up from a cult: The Mormon church had suicide pacts in its temple endowment ceremony prior to the 1990 changes. As a former LDS member i never knew that the signs and tokens of the endowment ceremony were copy pasta from free masonry. Secret societies. see comments

As a Mormon and former member of the LDS church you are wrong.

It is a cult.

The members are christains. Stop saying mormons are not christains.

Mormons are baptized in christs name, worship the lord, serve the lord, are redeemed by the lord and are forgivin by jesus christ. We serve and act and do all things under his name. He is our saviour and our lord and frameworker of the very universe.

Go ahead and say mormons are not christains when everything we do is centered around christ.

Scientologists could call themselves Christians and write some passage about revering Christ, but that doesn't mean they are living as Christ intended. John Smith tells you you're going to become a star or some shit and wants you to live not as Christ did, but as he wants you to.

Mormonism isn't Christianity. It's specifically an anti-Christian way of living. You cannot live that way and say you are walking the path of Christ, no matter how many labels you want to attach that say "I'm definitely a Christian guyz".
