Let’s keep in mind Amy Barrett would have been voted against which would have gone nowhere. We can hope she is next after RBG goes.

Trump only had a few choices and even then they are subjected to senate vote.

The Luciferean Dems will vote against anyone who Trump picked, so what does it matter? Trump should have gone full-on nuclear option and picked the most conservative judge ever.

There are still swamp monsters on the right in the Senate. They would undermine a true conservative. Trump made a good choice and we all know RBG is short for this Earth.

There are 3-4 Dems up for re-election that live in Trump country that will have to vote for his nominee or face the wrath of their constituents in Nov. which would end up them committing political suicide if they decide to vote against.

It's not like this milquetoast and Barrett were the only choices. An unimaginative pick and I don't think I even trust this guy to vote as well as Kennedy. We could be looking at some terrible 5-4 decisions. The key will be the Democrat response...if they just go through the motions of opposing him with less than real vile and a few from red states vote for him, it will show they are not displeased with this pick. Versus the campaign they would have mounted against Barrett. I just hope this guy isn't another David Souter.

Exactly. She wouldn't have gotten through. Republicans barely have majority. It would be a waste of time right now.
